WOW..Look what I got!!!

Look what I got from my KR Secret Pal. I think she was reading my mind!!! I am so into felting wool right now and that is just what I got. 3 Balls of Noro Kureyon in gorgeous color # 74 (I LOVE PINK and GREEN) AND the book Felted Knits by Beverly Galeskas. I am so excited!!!!

Here is a close up of the yarn...isn't it beautiful?!?!?!

Look what else I got a really cute pad of paper with a magnet on the back (it is going right up on my frig) and a set of adorable coasters (perfect for right next to my computer). I am so happy; thank you so much secret pal!!! You are the best! Posted by Hello

Well Were Back

I did not get hardly as much knitting done while I was gone as I would have liked to. I tried to work on my pink/peach and sage scarf and it shed all over the new car. My husband was not happy about that.
I have to go back to school today and I am starting a new show tonight. I don't remember if I said that I am an actor. I do a lot of show in my local area. Next I am going to be in The Boy Friend at Cal State Bakersfield. I can't wait, I love musicals!!! That reminds me...I got to see We Will Rock You while we were in Las Vegas! I loved it; I just happen to be the biggest Queen fan ever and that show just pushed me over the edge!!!!

I am a sick woman!!!

Oh no, what is that in that LYS bag?!?!?!

That's right it is 3 more balls of Noro Kureyon in color 95. Now I know I am really sick. At least now I can make a BIG bag out of all of my Kureyon! I couldn't help it, it was the same dye lot as the 3 balls I got on e-bay...I HAD to get it! Posted by Hello

PS: "Classy Knits" lady I didn't buy this from your store. It was two bucks cheaper at the "Bead and Yarn Studio" and I got 15% off!!!

When there is nothing to do...Felt!

I was bored yesterday so I took a skein of Lion Brand Fisherman's Wool, that I had dyed this horrible yellow color with small green sploches, and I knitted up a swatch to see how it felted. The top is single strand and the bottom is doubled. I think it turned out pretty well. I used size 13 needles and that is why you can still see the stitch definition. Posted by Hello

NO Knitting

I have been so busy with school these past few days I have not gotten to do any knitting. I think I am going through withdrawals.
I went to a local knitting shop yesterday and I got totally snubbed by the owner....I am never going there again, I will spend my money where people want it!!!

Booga Booga!!!

I am very happy with how my first Booga Bag has turned out!!! I think the yarn that I dyed looks really nice! As you can see I didn't felt it very much, I didn't want another mini felted bag like with my Sophie! I can't wait to start on my next bag. Posted by Hello

If my secret pal is reading this I think I have a few clues for things I need (more like want). I could really use a chibi (I saw a cute pink one on someones site and I fell in love!) and I am in love with the "Two Old Bags" patterns named: Lucy bag, Mother and Daughter Bag, Flower power, and Jilly bag. None of the stores in my area sell these wonderful things so I would have to order online (which it totally cool with me :) But I thought this would be a neat way to make a "wish list!"

What I have Been Up To!

Here is the Booga Bag that I have been working on. It is made out of my Kool-Aid dyed wool that I got from E-Bay. I am very happy with the way it is turning out! I am about half way finished!

Well I finally got the yarn for my Karabella poncho. I got a good deal on 20 balls of Patons Bella on E-bay....I am an E-bay machine!!!

20 Balls....hehehehe!

Look what I got in he mail today!!!! 3 Balls of Noro Kureyon is the best colorway there is 95!!! I can't wait to make another Booga Bag! If knitting is a sickness....I don't want to be well!!! Posted by Hello
